How to clear Cache and Cookies for Chrome, Firefox and IE


Internet cookies, little pieces of information stored in your web browser comprised of text strings. Most commonly, they are used to store things like usernames so that you do not need to input them every time you visit a site that you frequent. As such, they are harmless little things, just trying to help make your web browsing a bit easier.

Sometimes, you don't want your username to be automatically entered on a webpage. Usually, you would have to delete all of the cookies stored by your browser. In this guide, we will see how to delete cookies and cache for most popular Internet browsers.

For Google Chrome

1. Go to Chrome Menu on the up right corner and then down to Settings
2. Scroll down and click on “Show advanced settings”
3. Look under “Privacy”
4. Click “Content settings...” and select "All cookies and site data"


5. On the search bar input "www.jtechdigital.com"

6. click “Remove all show” to delete all cookies form www.jtechdigital.com

For Firefox

1. Click the menu button on the up right corner and choose “Preferences”
2. Choose “Privacy” then click “remove individual cookies”

3. In the “Search”: filed, type the name of the site whose cookies you want to remove.
4. Select the cookie(s) in the list to remove and click “Remove Selected” or click “Remove All”
to remove every cookie stored in the browser.


For Internet Explore 11

1. On the Start screen, tap or click Internet Explorer to open Internet Explorer.
2. Tap or click the Tools button , and then tap or click Internet options.
3. On the General tab, click Delete under Browsing History in the Internet Properties dialog box.

4. In the Delete Browsing History dialog box, click to clear all of the check boxes except for the Cookies check box, and then click Delete.
