In this guide, we’ll walk you through everything you need to get up and running quickly.

What’s Included

Inside the box, you’ll find:

  • 1 × Wireless HDMI Transmitter (TX)
  • 1 × Wireless HDMI Receiver (RX)
  • 2 × Power Adapters
  • 1 × User Manual

Key Features at a Glance

  • Wireless HDMI Transmission (Up to 328ft): Send 4K@30Hz video and audio with no cables required
  • Audio Flexibility: Analog audio input (TX) + AUX audio output (RX)
  • HDMI Loop-Out: Connect a local display at the transmitter
  • IR Control: Control your source device remotely from another room
  • Flexible Modes: Supports 1-to-N splitter mode and N-to-1 switch mode

Before You Start

For best performance:

  • Maintain clear line of sight between TX and RX when possible
  • Avoid obstacles like concrete walls, metal, or thick glass (these reduce range)
  • Ensure your source device is set to PCM/LPCM audio if you experience audio issues

Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Step 1: Connect the Transmitter (TX)

  1. Connect your source device (PC, Blu-ray player, streaming box) to the HDMI IN port on the transmitter
  2. (Optional) Connect a local display to the HDMI OUT (loop-out) port
  3. Plug in the power adapter

Once powered, the indicator light will turn on

Step 2: Connect the Receiver (RX)

  1. Connect the HDMI OUT on the receiver to your TV or projector
  2. Plug in the power adapter

The receiver will automatically power on and begin initializing

Step 3: Pair the Transmitter and Receiver

Before use, the TX and RX must be paired:

  1. Connect TX and RX temporarily using an HDMI cable
  2. Wait for the pairing indicator to stop flashing
  3. Disconnect the HDMI cable once pairing is complete

If needed, you can reset pairing by holding the reset button for 6+ seconds

Choosing the Right Mode

Splitter Mode (1 TX → Multiple RX)

Use this when sending one source to multiple displays:

  • Set both TX and RX to SP mode
  • Pair all receivers with the transmitter
  • Recommended: Up to 4 receivers for best performance

Switch Mode (Multiple TX → 1 RX)

Use this when switching between multiple sources:

  • Set all units to SW mode
  • Assign matching ID values between TX and RX
  • Only one transmitter connects at a time

Audio Setup Options

This extender gives you flexibility with audio:

  • Embed external audio: Use the AUX IN on TX
  • Extract audio: Use the AUX OUT on RX for speakers or sound systems
  • Supports standard PCM/LPCM audio formats

IR Remote Control Setup

Control your source device remotely:

  1. Connect IR TX cable to the transmitter and point it at your source
  2. Connect IR RX cable to the receiver
  3. Use your remote from the receiver side

Range: up to ~5 meters from IR receiver

Performance Tips

  • The system uses 5GHz wireless (802.11ac) for stable transmission
  • Latency is less than 80ms, suitable for most AV applications
  • Devices automatically select the least congested channel
  • Supports multiple systems in the same environment

Common Troubleshooting

No Signal?

  • Ensure TX and RX are paired
  • Confirm both units are in the same mode (SP or SW)

Poor Signal or Dropouts?

  • Reduce obstacles between units
  • Adjust antenna angles
  • Move away from heavy Wi-Fi interference

No Audio?

  • Set source audio output to PCM/LPCM
  • Check AUX connections

Ideal Use Cases

  • Home theater wireless setups
  • Conference rooms and meeting spaces
  • Digital signage installations
  • Retail and commercial AV distribution
